DH's test results are in

I'm so sorry you and your DH will have to go thru this. My sister's husband has been battling lymphoma for two years now and it has been so hard on both of them.:( {{{{{HUGS}}}}

Prayers said for you and your family.:grouphug:

My prayers and good thoughts are been sent for you and your family.

The biopsy they performed was a needle aspiration where they stuck a needle into the lump (node??) and drew some fluid and tissue out. According to what the doctor sees and feels, he said the left tonsil, the side where the lump is, is also hard. I guess we'll know more when we go to the specialist. Still waiting to hear when that will be.

Thanks for all the encouraging words. I really appreciate it.:D

So sorry to hear that this AM, Colleen, Dennis, you and the kids have been through so much. As you have said, cure rates are very high with that and with all Dennis has had on his plate of late, he will do well. My prayers, good wishes are with him, all of you. I look forward to seeing you guys in a few months, cancellation, fooey!!!!'s

Thanks for the smile Dan!! I was talking to Dennis at lunch and any hesitiation he had about going on ToT and RnR have been blown out of the water. He said he want to live life to it's fullest! :bounce: I can't guarantee that he's not going to scream like a girl though!;)

Blessings and best of luck to your DH, Colleen. I hope everything goes well and he's quickly on the road to recovery.

How insensitive of that Doctor. I'm no longer shy about telling doctors when they need to adjust their attitude. I'm so sorry it is cancer, I'm glad it is the "good" kind if there is such a thing. My prayers will be going for your DH. We have the best hospitals and research facilities in our area, I know he will get state of the art excellent care. I'm glad that Disney didn't add to your worries.

Reminds me of the commercial where the lady says "the phone rang, and it was cancer":( How insesitive of the doctor to just be so matter of fact...but I do agree that htese days so many fantastic options are out there. Stay strong, glad that WDW was understanding. Hopefully the oncologist he sees will more than make up for the treatment you've rec'd so far.
And I agree wholeheartedly w/DAN......PHOOEY ON CANCELLING!
Sendign prayers and PD for you all.

Prayers and pixie dust going out to you and your hubby.
Cancer is horrible-I just lost my mom in June(to advanced colon cancer)..but it sounds like your husbands prognosis is very good!
My Gram had skin cancer, got it removed and was fine-she lived until she was 98-dying of old age.
As long as you catch it in time, it's very treatable.

Prayers and pixie dust headed your way for DH and your whole family. :grouphug:

Prayers for Dh and your family, I hope you and your dh can take your trip.

I'm sorry...wishing your DH well in his treatment, a speedy recovery....and a great family vacation too !

Prayers being sent your way for your DH. I know a number of people who have had SCC and it is VERY treatable in most cases. Please make sure you have a well-informed oncology team working with you, which I'm sure you do!

Good wishes and prayers to you and your family.

~Linda

Sorry for the late reply Colleen!! You know you are all in my thoughts and I will talk to you tomorrow! Don't forget you are "officially" a part of a Disney family now-only you could know what I mean!! LOL
