I'm sorry if this has been asked repeatedly, I'm stepping out of my "I-don't-have-a-disney-vaction-planned" hiatus and trying to see what's changed since last August.

1- Yes. (Same is true for Epcot and DAK.)

2- It is for us.

What is less advantageous (some would say not worth doing) is booking an early-morning
breakfast ADR.

I had no idea Epcot and AK let guests in early too. Very good to know.

I'm trying to figure out if morning EMH are worth it, or if the 15mins they let you in early is good enough.
