Hi all:

Will this work for DHS day - June 20? Need to make FP tomorrow morning!

9am - RnR standby (maybe twice, depends on line...)
9:30ish - ToT w/ FP
10:00am - BatB
10:30am-ish - TSM w/FP
something else... animation open yet? still even there? Is Star Tours ok here standby?
11:30am - F! package lunch
12:30pm or 1 - Star Tours w/FP
break at hotel
return 5-5:30?
6:30pm - Frozen - can we get into this without FP???
7:40pm - Little mermaid, not crushed if we skip
8:10ish... go to F!? How early with dining pkg?
9:00pm - F!

Main questions:

Will we need FP for ToT at 9:30?
Would we be able to ride Star Tours stand by around 11am, and if so, should we use 3rd FP for Frozen at night?
Do we need a FP for Frozen at night?
How early to get there for F! dining package seating.

THANK YOU!!!!
Kim :)

Here is what I would do to start your day...I personally think you are cutting it close for ToT and Beauty and the Beast. That is if you want good seats. If you want to do it that way, RD Rock N' Rollercoaster (maybe ride twice), go to BatB, plan your FP for Tower of Terror starting at 9:45 a.m. You can even plan it for 9:40, and should be able to make it to ToT before 10:40 (you do get a little grace period of about 15 minutes I think if you are late for a FP. Not sure if this was changed though). You can ride ToT after Beauty and the Beast. After that, have your TSM FP. You should be done with TSM before your lunch reservation. After your lunch reservation, have a FP for Star Tours. I would say book around 1 p.m. That should give you plenty of time to eat. As soon as you get in line for Star Tours, look at your MDE app and book a 4th FP. You might get lucky with a Frozen FP, or another ride later in the day when you come back.

The something else you have listed with animation. That is now Star Wars Launch Bay where you can see a film about the making of Star Wars, and take pictures with Kylo-Ren, Chewbacca, and BB-8. If you have Star Wars fans in your family, this could be a cool replacement to do than Little Mermaid. I personally haven't seen that show, so I don't really know if it is worth skipping or not.

I was able to walk up for Frozen the only time I saw it at night, but I think it was the last show. I walked in right when the doors were closing as well and there were plenty of seats.

I recommend arriving an hour before Fantasmic even with the dining package. I always arrive an hour early with the dining package or FP. Should still have plenty of open seats, but it's a great way to relax, get a snack, and listen to arguably one of the best Disney soundtracks of some of their songs that I wish Disney would actually sell.

It really depends on Star Tours. I normally get a FP for it, or I will get a FP for the Indiana Jones show. On average, I have seen the stand-by line for Star Tours be about 25-30 minutes which I don't think is that bad.

Is beauty and the beast at 10am? Usually it's 11. Also the new Pixar orchestra show is starting and I know it would be a not miss for my family.

There is a show on that day at 10 a.m. I looked to double check before replying. When the Pixar Show was announced, the BatB shows got moved up, and there also isn't as many since they need to set up the theater for the Pixar Live Concert.

I've never looked into BatB timing, so I don't know if this is possible, but is there a way to see that later and move Star Tours standby to 10:00 AM? I wouldn't really want to get into the standby line at 11 AM in the summer (we go during July 4 week, so crazier than your week but probably not by much).

The last show for the day for them is at 2 p.m. Since they want a break, and do several rides, I still say 10 a.m. is the best. I also know the earlier show is easier to stand-by. They are in the area, and this would make it so that they don't have to walk all over the park.

11:30am - F! package lunch
12:30pm or 1 - Star Tours w/FP

Where is your F! lunch? That could throw a wrench into several things before and after your meal.
