DHS or AK with 20 month old??

we are taking our 20 month old to disney next month. unfortunately we only have two days. one wil be at the MK and we are not sure if we should go to DHS or AK for the other. what do you think our DD would enjoy more and why????

I'd actually go to Epcot, but of your choices I'd go with AK. Kids love animals and the trails there are perfect for moseying along with a stroller.

I would say DS. Playhouse Disney is there and the Beauty and the Beast show. My DD LOVES music and dancing. (She was terrified of animals). Plus the Studios have all those Christmas lights. There are also lots of Characters around the hat in the middle of the park.

I think you would be fine with either.
At DHS a toddler would like the Playhouse Disney show and the parade. I think Beauty and the Beast on stage could go either way w/ a 20 month old - depends on attention span.
At AK, the Festival of the Lion King show would be fun, as would the parade and seeing the animals.
There are a good number of characters available at both parks if your DD likes them up close.
AK is more spread out, so more walking. It might be easier to maneuver a stroller through DHS

It really depends on your son. It's so individual!

At that age mine cried and got scared when there were cheering crowds in enclosed spaces, so all shows were out for us. With no shows, the only thing he enjoyed at DHS was the "Honey I Shrunk..." playgorund. He loved AK though especially the Safari and train and all the animals.

As another poster mentioned, her DD was scared of the animals but loved Playhouse Disney etc.

Why not do 2 days at MK?

I would too choose Epcot or if you have hoppers 1 1/2 day at MK and 1/2 epcot but between those two I would say AK.
