DHS in a half day?

Hi everyone! Trying to do some planning before I made my ADR's. I had originally planned to visit DHS on Sunday, Sept 13th, however we did not want to do F! (we would love to, but since this is the ONLY showing of F! for the whole week, I cant see our kids waiting in line for 120 min).

With that in mind, do you think we would be able to see most (if not all) of DHS in a half day (rope drop til mid afternoon)? I just have a feeling that this park is going to be PACKED since F! is showing that night. Or, in your opinion, do you think it would just be better to skip DHS on this day and choose another day when F! isn't showing?

I'm thinking that there will be more shows added to the calendar.
It is still very early in the posting. But, even if they do, I'd still arrive 90-120 min. before show-time.

You don't "wait in LINE" for 120 min., anyway.
If you arrive that early, you would likely spend about 30 min., or so, in line,
but, you'd spend the rest of the time waiting, seated in the theater.

Nope.
We spend the better part of multiple days at each of the parks.
But, it's up to you.

That would be better, crowd-wise.

It depends on what you call seeing DHS- If you just want to ride the big rides, Toy Story, ToT, RnR, Star Wars, and Movie Ride and not see the shows you could come close to getting it done but if you want time to see the park, watch any of the shows (B&B, Indy, LMA, and AI all have specific times normally starting at about 11am for the earliest show). There are also a number of other attractions that are continuous shows (Mermaid, walt Disney, Animation Tour) and if your kids like characters this is the place to get a number of them.

We love DHS and always need at least one full day to do it. As PP said, if you want to see all the shows, you will definitely need more half a day.

When our kids were smaller, we used to go in for the shows and a couple rides and we'd be done with DHS by 3 if we got there right at rope drop.

Now, they are big daredevils - love TOT and RNRC, and we ride everything and see all the shows as well. We actually spent 1 1/2 very full days at DHS our last trip.

We can usually do it in a half day. However, I have two boys who don't care about any of the shows. The only one they want to see this year is Indiana Jones. I am actually worried because I have dinner ADRs at 5 p.m. I don't think we will be able to find enough to do to fill the day!

We don't ride TT or RR (not thrill ride people) but we can ride everything else and see the shows (the grown up shows, not Playhouse Disney) and be done by mid-to-late afternoon, but not by noon/lunch time.
