So it turns out that the newly announced EMM falls on our scheduled DHS day. Right now, we have TSM fastpasses booked, with plans to do RNR at RD following a Hollywood and Vine breakfast at 8:05 (planning/hoping to be efficient with that).
With this new event, I'm wondering if it'd make sense to change the FP to RNR and do TSM at RD. (wow, this is a lot of acronyms.) Do you think the EMM people will swarm RNR at RD after getting their fill of TSM? I've seen some speculation about this.
There's a high likelihood my husband and I will take turns doing single rider on RNR anyway, unless my 9-year-old decides to go for it, so that should help regardless. We also have a 2-year-old and can use rider switch, though I recall that not being available on attractions with single rider when we went in 2011. Maybe it'd different now if the 9yo did want to ride?
Thinking it's probably best to leave things as-is - EMM should be limited anyway, and only a portion of those will head to RNR. Even if a large portion, would it get too crazy, too fast? Agh.
