Thanks for the video, and so glad it explains what we're looking at, as sometimes on this thread I get really lost; although to be fair, it doesn't take much for me to end up confused lol

It appears to me that Star Tours remains separated from thew new Star Wars area with Muppetvision and a store in between. We'd heard rumors of MuppetVision's demise and that would explain why, yet, we have a new investment in the Pizza place with Muppet theming. Any theories?

To me, it doesn't make sense to keep Star Tours separate, but saying that, its the same in DLR. I reckon once the lands are done, eventually down the line, Star Tours will be retired

I doubt Muppetvision is going anywhere for the foreseeable future especially now that Pizza Planet has been re-themed to Muppets. Permits also suggest that one Pizza Rizzo is open that they are going to move on to Mama Melrose. I would not be surprised to see Star Tours re-themed sometime after Star Wars Land opens.

We both think Star Tours will be bulldozed or rethemed once SWL is done, and Guardians would be a great option.

Also, at that point does Indiana Jones take a bow and used that combined land (including Backlot Express) to come up with something new.

From what I have heard Star Tours stays for a new theme. No current plans for Indiana Jones but I agree that something will likely be done after.

I feel like it's probably in a what-if state until SWL gets closer to completion. It will take long enough that a decision can be made about what has staying power or gives them the most bang for their buck. They have plenty of options so it wouldn't make sense to decide too soon.

So I noticed a new shirt going around the Disney website and it says Hollywood Studios Est. 1994 with Tower of Terror as the icon. Hmm...any thoughts on that?

That should say 1989. Not 1994. DHS opened in 1989.

Exactly. It's like they're neglecting everything up to Tower of Terror, which DID open in 1994.

No way it gets bulldozed. It's a building with six simulators that can be rethemed to something else.

Just to play devils advocate, those simulators are by no means tied to that building and could easily be removed and repurposed elsewhere if there were a bigger, better plan for that area. Would it be my first pick? No. But not unreasonable.

Disney has closed high capacity, built newer low capacity and proven they don't always make logical choice so nothing is off the table. I see in that corner three plots together, unusual, that would be no loss if flattened if for something better.

Permit for a fence near the South Toll Plaza was filed 8/16. Work to be done by Hubbard Construction. I'm guessing this will block some of the views of construction.

Yea I don't understand why they have the date as 1994 instead of 1989 that actually kind of makes me upset lol
