Star Wars won't be going where LMA is.
No but service areas could...
Or are we back to the Phase ME and Phase MORE?

LMA is going to be staging and service areas like you said for now until of course they do their phase 3No but service areas could...

Do we even know where Star Wars is going? The only thing I know for sure is the area behind Toy Story Mania towards Animation Courtyard is going to be Toys Story LandStar Wars won't be going where LMA is.
...with good reason
Can someone explain to me - again - where they see any indication that the current Disney management has any desire to build and sell more Hotel rooms?
Star wars is said to go in the echo lake area and then expand into the parking lot.Do we even know where Star Wars is going? The only thing I know for sure is the area behind Toy Story Mania towards Animation Courtyard is going to be Toys Story Land
Because Star Wars fans are bigger suckers than Disney fans. Build a value style Star Wars hotel - charge low level deluxe prices. ($250-300 a night) Be booked 95% of the time. I would do it.
Make half be "rebels/resistance" and costume the staff as rebels, make the other half "imperial/first order" and staff with imperial uniforms. (Not Stormtroopers because that would be silly.) Have robot R2 units do "room service". Are you kidding. Charge $400 a night.
I'm more concerned about the "bar" next to Studio Catering company. It's the only place I could ever find Schöfferhofer on tap!
Also, maybe not on the same level as LMA or those other things, but the Writer's Stop is apparently going away as well.So in addition to LMA losing, the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playset and the Studio Catering Company are also closing. So guess that is the nearby locations

Regular rooms no, DVC is another story.
No argument there...
But I see lots of "I think it's time they build a new resort" and "they're missing out on all that money" around here...
But nobody ever explains how to justify that stance in light that the last hotel that broke ground was pop century in 2001...
Disney is dumb enough to not realize they're "missing out", huh?
That seems "uncharacteristic"

Well....kindaWasn't Art of Animation just built in 2012?
It seems it was built mostly to accommodate larger families. Keep them from getting off resort condos. I can see where it has a need but as for new regular resorts....... it seems they are rarely full as it is.
Part of it was already built for the legendary years but then 9/11 happened. They finished it at AoA instead of letting it rot.Wasn't Art of Animation just built in 2012?

Wasn't only the Little Mermaid section and the main lobby built when it was the legendary years?
That idea got shot down on page 5.![]()
