I wonder if they could do a show like Aladdin's in California Adventure...Would that be hard to accomplish?

I don't think it would be hard it's just getting management to do it. A show has been rumored for some time now at the fantasmic theater during the day.

They could put something permanent in the flex theater even though I doubt they would.

Even then I don't think the flex theater is an actual "Theater" with all the associated specialist equipment. It's more of a space they can throw things together in.

As I understand it the Aladdin show ran in a real theater, not a sound-stage.

That is true. The only thing they could possibly do something like that is the beauty and the beast theater?

Well with the time it takes to build attractions and stuff, maybe a conversion of something that isn't often used... I know I'm stretching here, but would love to see some more life added to the parks, other than these (COMMON NOWADAYS) 3-4 yr expansions.

This is just one park mind you...And Don't let me get started on a lifelessness of E P C O T.... Empty , tired bldgs...
I am glad though that AK is finally about to get the LOVE that it deserves now....It'd be hard for the masses to call this a 1/2 day park anymore...Although I wouldn't mind if they still treated it that way---->More rides for us to walk onto later in the day..:woohoo::stir:.lol

I have a feeling that after this burst of activity there's going to be a long lull where we don't see much of anything happening.

Site prep is pretty dull I think and that's the next logical step.
Well we are going to lose vantage point of the canyon in about a week once LMA closes. They have already filed permits for LMA demo so that should go down quick. After LMA we will likely see that lull.

That would actually be really cool. Does California Adventure still have the "Instant Concert, Just Add Water" show? It could be like that, although considering the fountains it's probably more apt for rivers of light

Are you talking about world of color? The rumored show was Tangled but that changed apparently something is still being worked on for that theater.

Puppy, yes the show was still operating on my trip last September.

Rteetz, it's a different show using the fountains and some song and dance during the day. It's not much but it's something to look at while enjoying a spicy corndog from the corndog castle.

They have filed a demolition permit for the LMA address but it says "back of house" so it may not actually be for LMA.

I was in the park the other day. Outside of Catastrophe Canyon and the theater not much construction is going on. Much of the back lot still seems to be untouched. The only thing of interest was two men in Muppet Courtyard taking notes. They were pointing and measuring lighting fixtures so maybe they were contractors of some sort.
