DHS at night

Night is the best time to visit Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land, in my opinion. They’re lit up beautifully and line lengths tend to go down late at night.

Galaxy Edge is a completely different experience in the dark ... more Star Wars like. You'll also see many local fans show up at night somewhat in costume with their light sabers. Kinda fun to be around. AND you can get great pictures. Go up on the overhang outside Docking Bay and great shots of MF for backdrop.

Toy Story Land ... at night with all the holiday string lights the land feels like a true land. Not just a parking lot of rides between two sections. Might not make sense but the nighttime just makes it cohesive.

ToT is fun at night as you glance out over the land as you drop but the whole Hollywood and Sunset Blvd and how the buildings are lit up just make it much cooler than day time.

We love it at night especially with a LATE ADR so we can walk the park with few guests.

I always try to grab an Oga's reservation for 8:15-ish. That way when I emerge around 9pm/park close Galaxy's Edge is virtually empty. It's also lit up very cool and it's a lot easier to hear the background plane noises. It's eerie -- in a very cool way. And lots of lit up light sabers.

Each of their parks are worth visiting just before close for their own reasons.

Edited to add I prefer that timeline for Oga's because the resort busses are still running. Make sure your transportation options are set before sticking around too late!
