For another last minute 7th grade project, DS#1 has to make a cake, frost it and then cut it in the shape of a given state, write the state name, put the capital in the right spot, and decorate it with state flower, plant, symbol, and things that are made in that state... then all the kids will out there cakes together and have a map of the USA..

so he has Georgia.. another fun project... at least it is one of the last, as school ends next wednesday..



please pass the chocolate brownies and another 'ritta for me...

Do kids in the USA get a lot of these type of projects to do at home? I guess these involve lots of parental help. If I asked my kids to do these things I would get some very rude letters from some of my parents! Some of these people can't even be bothered to help their kids with their written homework let alone anything else!!
