DH went back to the doctor and

we still don't know much of anything. He does not have leukemia, but he doesn't know exactly what. They took more blood. We call back in a week. If it is still high he is having a bone marrow culture done. The doctor does not think he has cancer but an infection somewhere in his body. I think this test is suppose to detect what kind of infection he has and hopefully pinpoint exactly what. I am thankful he does not have leukemia. And if his white cell count is down he does nothing. Please keep him in your prayers. Love you guys lots.

My Aunt's husband is being tested for what sounds a lot like your DH's symptoms - they are monitoring his red and white blood counts, and have determined that he is anemic as well.
