I think if we go forward with our original plans to do the full WDW trip, in order to make it a pleasant experience with minimal stress and frustration we will have to accept the fact that we may only be able to do a few things at each park (even after spending all that $$$ for the trip)and look to experiences that don't involve too much waiting and walking around like resort activities, character meals, Bippity Boppity Boutique, and the Pirates League, etc. as being just as memorable and enjoyable as the rides.

If your kids don't like watching shows, then I think WDW is the way to go. I'd also maybe skip the big parades, but make a point to see the "Move It Shake It!" one, and the "Frontierland Hoedown," where the kids can be part of the show.

It is possible to do WDW in a relaxed way, but it'll be more of a challenge with little ones along. Resolving to avoid stuff with long waits and to go with the flow will definitely make it easier. Best of luck.
