DH said we could add on! NOW WHAT??

We bought some stock at $1 last fall, and sold it at $2.09 last week (Owens Corning, they are in bankruptcy court, we had hopes it would go way up but it didn't!) DH said we could use our profit to add on! He told me this at breakfast and I almost threw up! I thought this would happen after we go down next month!
Anyhow, I am considering 100 points at VWL. This year we could use our 160 at BWV every other year for a 2BR, and 200 every other year for 5 days in a 2BR at VWL. Plus we'd skip 2003 and 2005, and use all those points to cruise in 2004.
Questions:
If we buy June 1 or 2, will we have a Feb. use year? Our other points are Feb. and it would be easier to track. (I know prices go up June 3!)
How much is the MB buy back right now?
Is there a VWL point schedule on the Disney DVC site? All I have is the book I got when I took my tour--I've been guessing with BWV preferred view points.
How is transport from VWL to MK?
How do those of you who have stayed at VWL like it? How is the transportation to the other parks?

First Congratulations!!

I just closed an add-on at VWL. Can't answer all your questions but I'll take a stab at some of them.

Unless the Feb use year is sold out at VWL, they will make your add-on the same as for your BWV. My OKW use year was August and even calling for the add-on in late April, they made the VWL match.

As I recall, MB for VWL is $5 per point on up to 1/2 the points. Not a great deal right now. With a Feb use year, I'd certainly suggest banking, taking a short trip to use them or renting them. The MB program was scaled way back.

The point charts 2001 and 2002 for all the resorts are on the Member Site.

Can't help with transportation questions. I've only visited there myself. My first stay at VWL is Jan 1-6, 2002. Can't wait.

Now the real info....VWL points are the same as BWV preferred view. Your add on will be the same use year as your original contract as long as that use year is available. Our uy is March and we did an add on earlier this month.

If you want you could even just call your guide and get the ball rolling on the add on now, no need to use up precious vacation time. Or they could probably have your papers waiting for you at the sales office so you could just sign, pay and go!

I haven't stayed at VWL yet....but I can't wait to. It sounds wonderful!

I am green with envy right now but so happy for you! Our home is BWV and although I do love it, had VWL been available when we purchased BWV, it would've been a very tough decision for us and I have been calculating in my head for days on how to do an add-on there. I really believe that it is now my favorite property. We had a magical stay there (5/20-25) and I was depressed to leave even though we went to the AKL directly afterwards.

Almost forgot, you can either take a bus or boat to MK. We took the boat and it was wonderful. We never waited long and it was a very pleasant trip and the route preferred by my three year old. We also used the buses for all the other parks and never waited long either. Everything was near perfect!!
