DH Messes With Tourist Minds on MiB

DH was on a solo visit to USF and riding with a dad and kid on MiB. They were both first timers, to they were doing pretty mediocre, with close scores. As they approached the spin tunnel, they were both gaping upwards so DH reached over and pushed the kid's button to get him the 100,000. Suddenly he was way ahead of Dad...neither had any idea how it happened, but DH got a laugh out of seeing the kid lord it over this dad with his higher score.

I do that all the time. I will push the youngest kid's "red button" if possible. If I am in the car with teens, I will push the only girl's red button. I love it when the girlfriend beats the wannabe boyfriend.

I helped kids out before too...sometimes they don't notice me pushing the button so they are excited to get all the points.

You do know that all of you can get the bonus points. It's not just the first person who pushes it. If you all hold down the red button right when you first see the big, big bug and then just keep holding it down until the bonus points start flashing on your score. Don't push it over and over--just hold it down that entire time. Then you can all get the bonus points. If you wait until Will Smith says "Push the red Button", then the first person who pushes it then will lock everyone else out of the bonus. So push it and hold it before he says to push it and everyone will be locked in.

He was just mad your score made him look bad!!!

I have learned to never intrude since it is not my vacation, it is thiers. I always let them speak first and then go from there depending on thier question.

Some people just want to ride the ride and could care less about the score.

For others it is all about the score, even on thier first time thru.

Some people are just weird/suspicious that someone would actually want to help them out. Reminds me of the people to whom I once offered free valet parking (DH uses his Premier pass for ours, and I generally use mine for whoever is behind us in line since we're both technically entitled to it). Normally people are thrilled to save $20, but this one couple freaked out and acted like I was trying to steal their car or something. Oh well, I think the people behind 'em were glad they were nuts since I just gave it to them instead.
