DH is gone...

DH left today to go back to Madison, then to deploy overseas for 40 days, although he said he will extend for an additional 40 days if he can. This is the first deployment for us since we have been together (6 years). I cried this morning when he left, and DS5 cried this morning when he got up (he didn't remember Daddy waking him up to say goodbye). I just wish that it wasn't over the Christmas season. I was looking at the tree this morning, and just thinking that I didn't even want it to be Christmastime, but I am keeping on a happy face for Wyatt. I just hope the time goes fast.

I'm sorry and I feel your pain. Our son is in Iraq for a year.
Deployments take their toll and over the holidays has to be the worst. I will keep you in my prayers that you have family and friends for support, will think positive and stay strong. Thanks to your DH and his family for your sacrifice. God Bless ^i^.
