I'm so sorry your dh will be deployed and miss christmas with the family. My heart goes out to you, your dh, and your ds. Deployments are hard enough to deal with without them being in the middle of the holidays. I hope you get to talk to your dh on the phone soon. Phone calls really do make you feel better.

I totally know how you feel. DH has been gone since August. Luckily I will have him home for this holiday season, but then he will be gone from Jan 05- Feb 06. It stinks so badly, but we are here for you and we soldier's wives ROCK! I'm amazed at the strength I have found in me, that I didn't know I had! I am sure you are the same way.

I'm so sorry to hear that he has to leave. My DH has been gone since May, and will be gone over the holidays, so I know how you feel.

All I can say is hang in there and lean on your family! Make sure you talk about what you are feeling with someone, don't keep it to yourself, it will drive you nuts.
