Last night I let DH buy a Playstation 2 since he has been wanting one forever and was driving me crazy. Almost $400 for the system, 3 games, a memory card and an extra controller. He stayed up playing late last night and when he woke up this morning he thought he would access the service menus in the TV to adjust the picture. He doesn't know anything about these menus and just started changing settings. Well after spending a few hours he has succeeded in completely messing up the TV where it is not watchable.
This would be bad enough if it was not for the fact that just about 2 months ago he tried the same thing and it took him several hours to even get the TV to turn off without pulling the plug. He finally managed to make it at least watchable again and he promised not to mess with the service manuals again. I guess he took that promise seriously....
So now DH has to take our TV into to a service shop to get it reset at the cost of $45. He just left and now it is starting to storm pretty bad outside.
I am really frustrated with him and I don't understand why he can't leave things alone that he does not know how to use properly.
Ugh!
