We just went to WDW in Feb. and Dh had said that it would count for our 10th anniversary in August. Well I've been hounding him and told him about the free dining. Today he said decide whatever you want. So what would you do?

Short kidless trip to WDW with free dining?

Short kidless cruise?

Suck it up and take the kids back to WDW with us?

I didn't hear anything about free dining this summer. Where did you see this?

Check out Mousesavers.

I would take the kids along with you and make it a family event.
You know that they will bug you if you don't take them along.

I would take the kids!

My Dh and I are planning our 25th anniversary in August of 2009. We are taking our kids with us to Hawaii.
They are part of the marriage and I love to take the kids with us!

yah! Whatever you choose, I'm sure youll have a blast!!

Congrats!

I am in a similar situation. I am trying to convince DW to go back now that free dining is available. I'm pretty sure she is ready, but now the decision will be between a quick kidless 4-night trip or a family 8-night trip.

If we go as a family I am pretty sure I can work up an "adults-only" mini vacation to somewhere local in June. Or maybe I can just get my folks to keep the kids for a few nights while DW and I enjoy peace and quiet (and work) at home. Hmmmm decisions, decisions.

While I am typing, if you were my DW (scary thought, I know) would you be jumping up and down if I offered to take us all back to WDW even though it would be in August? I agree that it will be hot and humid, but with free dining and good planning surely we would have a great time. :confused3

I had said I would never go in the summer, but I was thinking that I could deal with crowded, hot, and humid better without the kids. Just relax around the resort, eat at adult type restaurants or at least at an adult pace. Stroll through the parks with nothing in particular to see or do. That kind of thing. But also I am afraid that I would miss them to much and feel to guilty, "if the kids were here they would love this" kind of thing.

Wow!! I wish my DF was more like you... What I wouldnt do to have someone who shares my love for Disney.. He would never in a million years surprise me with a trip to Disney.. :sad2: He hates everything about Disney.. I did get him to go with me once, but I had to just go by myself recently with my children because he didnt want to go and now Im planning a solo trip for just me without the kids or him.. I think its sweet and your wife is lucky to have you..

Now that I saw Free dining I don't know what to do. Should I go to WDW or keep my plans for the cruise I have booked. I am so torn!!!!! I can't do both.
