The way things are headed with the dining plan, the next "no-no" will be discussing whether or not it is against WDW policy to pay OOP for a child's meal to save a TS credit for a future meal.

I was thinking of starting that thread to help me decide if this as a good way to maximize my plan.

Boy I needed a good laugh!! My BIL and his wife have been many times and THEY asked if I wanted to "borrow" their mugs for our trip!! After picking myself up off the floor and drying my eyes, I explained. They must have thought I was nuts!!! LOL!!!!!

I will have to admit though - him asking me that so innocently did give me a little perspective. I think I had forgotten that most people don't spend time every day reading about/discussing the minute details of WDW! It kind of made me feel sorry for a newbie who comes here to ask what is to them a simple question and then - BAM! - WWIII breaks out over it.

He does know we can only have 2 kids because of Disney room occupancy rules.

Actually when a newbie asks this question and any others considered "hot" topic WWIII only breaks out after the newbie has been given the official policy and someone decides that official policy does not apply to them.

So maybe it's not the Disney Police that causes the problems, ????

OK, confession time. A family member of mine who shall remain nameless does bring their mug back to the same resort a couple of times a year! I am in no way defending this but I also can't bring myself to explain the atrocity of the situation to them without coming across as a complete lunatic for spending so much time reading DIS and being educated on the ways of Disney!
Is there a Mugs Reusers Annonomus meeting for enablers?

I saw a ton of people using 2004 DVC mugs at SSR last week. Come on, people, make an effort. Did you not see the YEAR printed on the side?

Last February, I bought a DVC mug at SSR and it said 2004 on it! Naturally, since I DO read this forum, I was HORRIFIED to carry it around. I expressed my mortification to others in my party and they looked at me like I had a loose screw.

I tried to tell my DH that as well, but he keeps bringing up the fact that some places will accept 5 in a room. Looks like we'll be doing more Deluxes if child #3 comes along!
