I was surfing the web and found roundtrip flights from DFW to MCO as far out as June 2005 for 187.90(taxes included)PP with 1 stop in ATL in case anyone is interested. Is this a good buy?
If you don't mind stopping in Atlanta then I think it is a good deal. One of the routes we looked at with American had us going to St. Louis then to Orlando. Hello? Did I say I wanted to go to Missouri first? Our $210 nonstop Dallas to Orlando in January was fine with me. We were trying to make it in to Orlando early enough to still be able to hit a park that same day - stopping in another city would have trashed that idea. I think your fare on Delta is a good deal. You aren't likely to find anything lower than that.
The other thing we thought about was flying into Tampa and driving over in a rental car. Not sure if the flights are any cheaper, and that is really only a good plan if you aren't pressed for time and you were going to rent a car anyway.
Thanks for you reply I never thought about flying into Tampa. I think I will check that airfare and rental since we did not plan on doing the parks on our first and last day.
