DFTW Discount and timeline.

Does anyone know if they are still offering 10% off food and beverage and waiving room blocks? Does anyone know if Disney has a cutoff date on weddings, i.e. do they need a certain number of months to plan everything. My fiance and I were going with Just Marry!, but have not heard back from our planner in almost 2 weeks and are considering going with Disney. We had our hearts set on the crescent terrace at the swan and had a contract written up, but have been hesitant on sending it in because our planner hasn't responded to any of our questions. We were planning an October wedding, but saw an ad that Disney was offering a discount and waiving the room blocks for weddings in the months of July, August and September (must be having a hard time getting weddings with all the hurricanes the last few years). We were just afraid this may not be enough time. What we thought was going to be the perfect wedding is slowly evolving into a huge headache. Help!!!

I'm sorry to hear that Just Marry haven't got back to you. I'm really not sure myself if DFTW are still offering this deal for those months, your best bet is to call them. Certainly I could plan a wedding there in 3 months if I had to, heck I could do it in 2 or less if I really had to and Disney can certainly do that too as long as the sites you want are available, so I say go for it, if you can get a good price and that room block waiver would certainly be a big pull for some brides whose guests are mainly staying off site or live in the area.

I agree, i know that there are incentives for booking those moths at the moment so like sam said i would give them a ring. If they have a date and time available at the location your after then you'll probably get a good deal! I wouldnt worry about the time either, im sure that you could plan it all withing a couple of months no problem!
