What a great site. We were fortunate to see Devine last year. She and Jasmine were my DH favorite "attraction" Well, I guess I better get to my abdominal "crunches" to compete...LOL

In the AK we tried to see DeVine but we waited until afternoon to ask where she might be and she was gone for the day. I suspect because so many stilt walkers are used in the afternoon parade.

Actually, DeVine is not employed by Walt Diney World. She is contracted out, therefore, she does not walk stilts in the afternoon parade. Those are cms in the entertainment department.

Thanks for the link. We have seen the Fountain at the San Diego Zoo. It was so cold that day, we thought she must have been freezing! Interesting that the two are the same company. Would love to see Rock.

I was very excited to see her this trip after reading about her in this forum.

My SIL & bro had no idea that she was a character until she started moving when I had them pose next to her.

We finally saw Devine last Dec! She was in AK on the pathway between Africa and Asia - near the Birds of Prey show (right name?). My boys thought it was so cool, and I was happy that I knew exactly who she was thanks to the boards here!

I felt sorry for her after a bit. There were some people that just would not leave her alone - she just wanted to try to "hide" again so she could suprise someone new - they wouldn't just walk away.

We were also lucky enough to see her this past trip. We were just walking by and saw some movement in the trees off to the side. I told my kids to stop and look and then she came out of the trees and other people stopped as well. It was really cool. It was also really neat to notice her when a big group wasn't standing around watching her.

Steve has schedules and suggestions for lots of the entertainment, his site was where I first read about Devine. The video appears to be where she enters and leaves the park. This is along the walk between Flights of Wonder and Harambe, where we have seen her.
