Deux Petits Cochons ~ 5 days DxDP ~ 10-22~10/27 - Everything but the snacks! (11/11)

For those who don't know french, the title translates to "Two Little Pigs". The title was actually going to be We walked in, and we rolled out.

The players on this food porn thread are:

Me (Angela)... I love to try new foods, and have not eaten at a table service restaurant in Disney before, so it'll be all new to me... Though I feel like I've been there a lot lately... I love the reviews others have given, so here I am to try my own dining review/ and I'm planning on LOTS of pictures!!! (we'll also be celebrating my un-birthday... which would be my last 30th birthday)

DS11 (Jon) but we'll just call him "slim". He likes to eat... doesn't love to eat. He has a good appetite, sometimes. I've been a little worried about this dining plan and Jon. I think it's his meds that cause the appetite issues, so we'll see how it goes. Wish us luck!

This is going to be a great learning experience for me. If it works out good, then when DD and I go back to Mickey's great dining hall (and entertainment center) I may opt for the DxDP again. If this is a failure (hence "learning experience") then I may opt for the basic dining plan. I do have some "foodie" pictures from when DD and I visited the world in Dec. Wanna see?

Lib. Tree Tavern: Dinner (anyone from DIS gonna be here? I have a surprise! Shhhh another secret!) MNSSHP night
Fri-24th:
Kona: Breakfast
Teppen Edo: Lunch
Cape May Café: Dinner (This one may be cancelled. I’m thinking of trying to go to Mexico for dinner and stay at Epcot for the night.)
Sat-25th:
Donald @ Tusker: Breakfast
Lunch somewhere at AK... Suggestions?
GFC: Dinner
Sun-26th:
Boma: Breakfast
Mama Melrose: Lunch (Mmmmm Calamari!)
Dinner somewhere...maybe DTD maybe another night of MNSSHP.
Mon-27th:
O’Hana: Breakfast
WCC: Lunch

I've changed these ADR's around about 25 times... I think this is the final draft. Unless I decide to try for something else....

and lastly... some of those frozen yummy booze drinks... well, I can't remember the name of them.

Hummmm, that should just about do it. I wonder what I can pack in my suitcase to bring home with me... suggestions?

Hey Nicki! I loved your dining report! I can't wait to see what you post on your next one!

Our Kona breakfast is at 8am... but it's after MNSSHP, so I don't know if DS will get his skinny tush out of bed to go to this ADR... I'm looking forward to everyone's favorite Macadamia pancakes!!! (I might have to haul him outa bed for this meal.)
We have Cape May at 7:15pm... maybe we can sit near eachother...??? (and take pics. of eachother's food! LOL!) We're gonna try to get there around 6:45pm, and see if we can get in earlier... it's worth a try. Jon's looking forward to the ribs.

we made late reservations (8:50) so we can get most everything in before the 1st parade and then eat after it, (don't flog me, but we don't like fireworks!) then finish up anything we missed before leaving. So we will miss you by a couple of hours, but I can't wait to hear what your surprise is!

We will also be eating at CMC for breakfast and dinner, but a day later than you on both counts!

Bummer... Are you dressing up? Maybe you'll see us around... DS will be Anakin Skywalker, and I'll be "Athena" the Greek goddess...LOL!! We're not going to the first parade, we'll get around to the 2nd. We may end up going to MNSSHP again on Sun. night too... if we don't make other plans between now and then.

Isn't the castle pretty? I loved the icicles and changing colors! OOOOHHHH, AAAAAHHHH... I think I have a pic. of all of the colors...LOL!

I'll post some more tomorrow... I don't know if I want to post the one of DD eating Choc. mousse from the french pastry place... (don't worry, I'll write down all names when I get there.... LOL!)

Me too! It was nice to sit and watch the colors change... very pretty!...

It was, after all, the day after Christmas, I believe it was mid morning... Needless to say, we had visited the World Showcase, and had eaten LOTS of food that day.
