To start off our vacation...and give you all a clear picture of how it all began.... I gave Jon his clothes at 2:15am on the 22nd, and said "If you aren't dressed by 2:35, I'll see you on the 27th." LOL! He was dressed within 2 minutes. Shocking.
We had an uneventful 1 hour ride to the airport, although there was WHITE STUFF falling from the sky. It's too early for this weather. ugh.
We arrived at our Delta ticket counter to check our 2 bags... and was met with "Would you and your son like to volunteer to take the next flight out this morning?" Hum, ah, NO. (oh, then she sweetened the deal) We'll compensate you each $400 in Delta dollars (I'm thinking.... hey, I can plan another trip to mickey land!) I told the girl that we were hoping to get upgraded to first class (baby!) as it was what Jon wanted to do.... "SURE!" she said!!!! HEY! what's 4 hours anyway? So we hung around the airport, boarded our flight, arrived JFK and went FIRST CLASS BABY

all the way to Orlando!!!!!
Did you know that you don't have to pay for drinks in first class???? I was thinking, hey, I can get toasted, and have a nap on the way to Orlando... well, they make some strong margs in first class! Here's the picture:
Jon's gingerale is on the left, my one and only margarita is on the right... yup, I'm a lightweight. one drink puts me to sleep.... usually.
Jon had a great time on the plane, they have tvs and interactive games on the flights.... it was cool!!!!!
We made our way (pretty quickly) to the ME desk... too bad they don't serve margs there....

We arrived home to the Wilderness Lodge at 5:15 pm... (I had called and cancelled the Tusker house res. while waiting to leave in Burlington)
Jon and I made our way to Epcot... Can I just say that the disney transportation is very nice, on some occasions... but sitting sideways really got to my stomach on a number of ocassions. (can you say BLEH!

) No, the driver didn't have to clean up after me... but one time was very close! (sorry if TMI)
Okay... Dinner at Le Cellier (aka the place that has that awesome cheddar soup ~ to quote Jon)
Our waiter was Jeff, from Nova Scotia. He was GREAT!!! Attentive, accomidating, funny, my drink glass was never empty! We sat in the main dining area. Jon loved this place! We arrived about 20 minutes early, and had to wait til our actual res. time, which wasn't bad, as the hostesses were talking with us all in the waiting area (when we arrived they weren't personable, but I asked Jon to go over and see where they were from. ~can you say "Ice Breaker"???)
I had a diet coke (I didn't take pics. of my drinks, doesn't everyone know what a diet coke on ice in a glass looks like???

) Jon had the chocolate shake:
The bread "tree":
Jon's Prince Edward Mussels... (eeew, I don't do mussels or clams, so I didn't try them) Jon said that they're "musselly, and beats school lunch any day!" silly boy, he's in Disney, that beats anything, anyday!
I had the Cheddar soup. I loved the cheddar soup. The cheddar soup DID NOT love me though. At All!

Jon loved the cheddar soup, and licked the bowl! See:
Jon had the strip steak, with roasted potatoes. I had the filet sub potatoes and just gravy.
We did get dessert, but we took it to go... I didn't have a chance to take the pictures, before the dessert got mangled on the way back to WL.

sorry. We did get the chocolate mousse, and the cheesecake. Neither of which I had. Hum, oh well.
If you notice Jon wanted to be in the pictures, this did change over the course of a few days....
Up next... "This place is Hoity Toity, let's eat quick before they ask us to leave!"

AKA: The Grand Floridian Cafe.
