Good morning everyone! I hope everyone who celebrated any holidays this past weekend had a good one! I am sorry we are so behind on this but life has been crazy over here! I finally found some time though so let's start day 2!

We got up bright and early at 5 am! It was very early we got ready and headed down to the food court for our first Disney breakfast at POR.

There were many choices but unfortunately not a lot was open at 6 am

We made our selections and headed off to find some seats since it was soo crowded!

We ended up near the tv so we got to watch Special Agent Oso while we ate. He is a cute panda and I enjoyed yelling out the answer to the questions he asked while I ate. Yes I am 21....

My mom had a blueberry muffin

I had apple jacks


Like I said there weren't many options so we didn't end up with a very filling breakfast which would come back to haunt us in a few...

With a ton of time before we needed to head to our first park we decided to run our mugs back to the room and walk around the resort a bit.

We finally got to the bus stop and we were so excited to finally be heading to a park!

Once on the bus we had to try to keep our excitement contained! Once we passed under the first gate we let out an excited yell and it finally felt like we were here Once off the bus my mom speedwalked away while I hung back to take pics

Yep we were at the Magic Kingdom!!!!!

I can't believe we will be staying here in September!

We weren't the only ones who were excited to be at the Magic Kingdom this morning!

Look at them Superstar hands!!!!

The Mayor welcomed the throngs of excited park guests itching to race down Main Street to their first ride.

Then more people came to welcome us and pump up the excitment.

Then they decided to do Superstar hands because of their excitement!

Some more friends came to join us

After Mickey and the family counted down mom and I rushed down the street and finally saw the beauty that is my Castle.

Had enough of the Castle yet? I thought so. So we headed on our way to our first ride but had to stop to see one of the new Castles.

Then continued to Peter Pan

Then we tried to get on Its A Small World but it was down I didn't know what we would do with our day at that point but we noticed the construction going on in the old Skyway area and asked the CM at IASW about it. He said he had heard a lot of rumors but wasn't certain what was going on in there. Well after that bit of useful information we decided on a rest stop.

It was pretty deserted around this area!

We decided to head to my favorite ride which is across the way from this

I was a bit curious by the name so I looked it up for your reading pleasure

It is a throwback to Thurl Ravenscroft one of the bust singers in the graveyard scene and has a long list of acting in Disney cartoons.

I was also curious about this name.

The name is a tribute to Harper Goff, who created the first concept drawing for a Disneyland haunted house.

We also found the ring on our way through the Q

Once on the ride I didn't really take any picture but in the Bride scene I decided to take a quick one and I ended up suprised with how well it turned out!

Now it was time to check out IASW again to see if it was open. It was

We were loaded on to a boat with a mom, her 1 year old son and her young daughter. Keep this is mind..

The first room was pretty quiet but once we got to about this point

We started hearing "MOMMA LOOK AT!" yelled at the top of the little boy's lungs. It continued non stop for the rest of the ride...

So after that annoying and tiresome ride on the Happiest Cruise that ever sailed it was time to head to our next ride...

It was extremely quiet that morning! I don't know if we were just on the right side of the park or what but that morning was dead! I just wish the rest of the day was

I love Bob and POR. The boat to DTD is the best way to travel in WDW. Looks like you both had a great trip.

Love the pictures of the castle! I never get tired seeing those! I love haunted Mansion too. The queue is vrey cool to wander and neat info you looked up!

I do believe "Momma look at!" would have to much more annoying than hearing "It's a small world" sung over and over and over!!

It is great when you feel like the park is yours and yours alone! (Even if for only a little while!)

Por is a great resort! We actually considered it for our September/October trip as well

I just decided spur of the moment the other day to take my cousin for a graduation trip this July (hence the new ticker), and I have narrowed it down to POFQ, POR(royal room), and Poly. Your pics are making me lean more towards POR, but I'm afraid of all the bus stops! Did you ever have trouble finding a seat? Don't they stop at POFQ first?

That sounds like a lot of fun!

We never had an issue getting a seat on the bus but then again we went during their off season. It may be a bit harder in July. It depends sometimes they do during the middle of the day or at night but in the mornings they have two separate buses.

My mom was very happy!

Where exactly is the bride's ring in the HM queue? I have never seen it.

Great bride picture. When that picture turns out well it really rocks.
