Checking in again re shopping on Friday, August 29! Anyone see an email to sign up for that yet? We got an email stating that tomorrow some shopping sign ups via email will be sent out but think that is for those without a D23 reservation? Sorry, confused by all! Thanks in advance.

I got mine today, coincidentally. Three different links, one from Mickey's of Glendale, one from the Studio Store, and a third from the Walt Disney Company Store.

I got mine about an hour ago. I surely hope they change things up this time around and allow a single location pickup.

It's $200 per night plus taxes. You'll find the link to make a reservation in the email confirmation you received when you got the tickets!

Is there a D23 thread or community on DISboards? I've looked and can't find one, but that's not conclusive. We can't attend Destination D23 this year, but we did just receive our loot for renewing our Gold membership, and we're impressed. The book alone is worth it.

Ohhh, I'm up for renewal and have been trying to decide which of the "gifts" to get, that one has been at the top of my list, glad to hear that it's a good one!

I have the book as well and recommend it! And the D23 version has a special dust jacket.

I think there is not a D23 thread here, sadly. I'm on a FB group but I'd love for there to be a dedicated D23 thread to share stuff about the various events they do. But I think there may not be as many members on Disboards as on other platforms

Wow, I can't seem to figure out the process for a Friday shopping slot. It's giving me errors or just a blank section multiple times.

Well that sucked. Would not work on my Mac Safari or Chrome. Finally got it to work on my iPhone. Was several hours later than I would have preferred. But it'll work. Not terribly interested in being the absolute first to buy, if something "sells out", so be it.

I wanted the earliest window to get it over with but by the time it let me actually put something in my cart I ended up getting 11 am.

I've been to the last 2 and nothing we wanted seemed like it was sold out by late morning. IMO the shopping isn't as intense or expansive as the Expo. Though maybe I'm not the best source as we usually only buy a couple of things (anything Muppets, lol).

I did the Adventures by Disney Southern California trip last year and we physically went to all three of these stores and TBH a lot of it was generic stuffed animals. I do love the Muppet stuff and things branded with Imagineering but I am hoping there isn't much I feel the need to buy.

Totally forgot about the shopping reservation until just now. Last night was rough We are going to DHS in the morning and then MNSSHP later, so afternoon worked best for me anyway. Also, since downsizing to less than half the square footage we had before, I’m trying not to buy much.
