To be fair, it's the same at DLP - they do sell fruit on a few carts around the place but it's very expensive and usually a bit manky looking! I can cope for a short break, like at DLP, but 3 weeks would probably cause me problems!
I am hoping we can fill up on veg/salad bits they'll eat at buffets.
The fruit on the carts at WDW is also not cheap. But it's far from manky looking and we love getting a few oversized bright red apples from the carts during our stay. Also, some of the CS places will let you have apple slices instead of fries (if they stock them) with your meal. We have never eaten a hotdog or burger and I'm not a fan of fries. What it boils down to is getting acquainted with the offerings on the menus and narrowing down a list of suitable options for grabbing your quick service meal in each park. Honestly, I have never been short of options. I just know what places not to bother with for food, but they really are few and far between.
