Dessert Party without Disney wedding???

Hi everyone! My DFi and I aren't getting married at Disney, we are getting married at Celebration Golf Club, and wanted to host a Dessert party(Illuminations) for the wedding party/family for our Rehearsal Party...is there anyway to do this without a Dis wedding? I know you can have a grand gathering but will they not allow it if they know its a rehearsal party for a wedding somewhere else?? If anyone has done this, please point me in the right direction as to where to start looking. Thanks SOOOOO much!

FYI, we ARE staying at the Boardwalk Villas (renting points) so that should help right?
