Dessert Party Leftovers?

For those who have done smaller dessert parties... what did you do with the leftover food? Will disney provide containers for you to take it back to your room or what did you use?

There will only be 4 - 8 of us with half of those people being kids under 7... so I know we'll have left overs. Should I maybe bring a tupperware container to put some goodies in so we can enjoy them during the following week that we'll still be there? Or is that frowned upon?

I asked this same question! The general response is you can take them but you have to bring your own containers.

yep, I bought chinese food containers at the Container Store and used those. The desserts were yummy so people were happy to take the leftovers...And Lurkyloo and Jensey Root even got a Mickey Mouse rice krispie treat!

P.S. - Don't ask your coordinator to help you with the leftovers. Technically you're not allowed to remove any food from the venue, but lots of people do it, and sometimes the server encourages it.

We brought our own containers and packed everything up. The servers had no problem with it.

We anticipated this and brought our own zip lock bags to our dessert party. We had 50 people in the UK Lower. Well - everyone loved the desserts so muich we had none left. We left the dessert party with Misty for some photos before IllumiNations started and by the time we got back it was slim pickings. Not sure if everyone ate alot or if there was a limited amount of desserts.

I brought plastic zippy bags and just after the fireworks passed them out to everyone and said 'load up!'. The waiter thought it was funny and so did the guests (who touted me with the title of 'The Boy-Scout-Bride'...prepared for everything!). They all loaded up on their favorites and didn't leave a piece! lol

Yep we did that too, brought ziplock bags and everyone loaded up! It was so funny seeing everone load up and walk back to the bus!
