Just booked the Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party on whim last night, forgetting there are two diabetics in our group.

Will there be any no sugar added options?
If there isn't, is the cost justifiable still?

PS.. someone more enterprising than I should feel free to use my thread title for a cookbook title. Free of charge...lol.

I am also taking a diabetic to the dessert party, there’s cheese, crackers, egg rolls. I guess it’s not really worth the money but is it ever? We’re there more for the view and experience. I might make him do a few laps of MK first so his sugars go a bit low so he can get his money’s worth.

Sugar free does not mean low carb. The only thing I would be able to consume is cheese and if there were any fresh berries. I do eat very low carb, no grains sugar or fruit, other than berries sparingly. I would only go if it was with a group. I would pay for the seating and experience rather than the sweets.

Type 1 or Type 2? With my type 1 kid she eats whatever she wants, and we dose for it. type 2 might be a little trickier.

We cancelled our dessert party after DD was dxed but it's more that I didn't feel like spending the whole time figuring out carb counts for half a mini cupcake, 3 bites of sugar cookie, etc. One negative thing I've heard about Disney is they do not provide (or really have) carb counts so it'd be a lot of guessing.

I consider booking for my solo trip. I eat low carb and gluten free and realized it wouldn’t be worth it.

I follow keto. When I called they said they would do their best to accomodate. I figure it doesn’t hurt to ask!
