We are going to the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday Feb. 18th and have a PS for breakfast at the Crystal Palace. Our plan is to head over to MGM in the afternoon and I am wondering if I make a PS for approx. 3:00 p.m. can we just order dessert and beverages rather than lunch. Is this allowed? If yes, is it frowned upon or encouraged?

Thanks for your thoughts!

It's perfectly fine to do this.... at that time of day they aren't horribly busy. I have done the same at other places in WDW and no problems!
Have a great trip!

Perfectly fine to do this! My DW & I usually do a dessert-only stop at Sci-Fi and save 50's PTC for a whole meal. But a dessert-only stop would be terrific. Try the S'mores!!!!

perfectly fine at 3pm.

of course - at 1:30/2pm they might not be too happy...but who cares! you are the customer!

enjoy it! Try dad's sundae! holy yumminess!!! (be sure to rotate the plate - it's like a whole other dessert on the other side! heheh...)

Thanks everyone - I think that's what we'll do. I've had the S'Mores at Prime Time and they were awesome. I may have to repeat!!!

Thanks!

I have not had the s'mores, but someone next to us did.
It turns out to be a phalanx of 20 or more marshmallows on graham crackers smothered in chocolate. The poor woman who ordered it only ate a few of them before giving up! You might be able to share it.

The S'mores are awesome. I found this picture of them online.

Yep we have to share the s'mores and even still don't always finish them. You can also eat at the bar, Tune in Lounge, and they can get you most items from the menu.

I ordered only Dad's Super Sundae and it was over the very busy lunch hour and they didn't say a thing. It was yummy. There is no way I could eat a meal and dessert and I live for desserts. I look at that menu first:D

There are so many restaurants I want to try on our next trip. There's no way we can order and eat full meals at each one. I was thinking of just doing dessert, and shakes at several places.
This will allow us to visit more places without spending tons of money.
