Hi! Central New Yorker here!  It really will depend on where you have the counter service. Usually at the all Stars you can pick from ice cream, cake or fruit. Some of the other counter services in the park you were able to get a bag of chips or slice of cake.. HTH neighbor!:goodvibes

It all depends on where you go!! I Know at Pinocchio Village Haus you can get a ice cream, Chocolate Cake, or Strawberry Cheesecake . Also some restaurants have frozen lemonade one is Pizzafari. ABC commissary has Chocolate Mousse and Strawberry Parfait. Every restaurant is different! Most have chips, cookies, and rice crispy treats, and ice cream treats!

You can look at all the menus at http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

Jst ask at the CS places - often they have small packaged to go desserts!!

how do you know what you can get when you are at CS? Do you have to keep asking, I can just imagine that would be crazy if it is crowded!

If you think it will count as dessert, it probably is... ice cream, cake, cookies, fruit for the most part.

We have had brownies, strawberry short cakes, fruit cups, and ice cream treats. At the water parks they will hold your ice cream for you to come back later. We ended up too full from lunch and went back much later with our receipt for our ice cream snack. Had no problems at all doing that.

With the increased usage of the DDP, many of the restaurants have expanded their menu boards describing what is allowed. The CM's manning the registers are very knowledgeable of the plan, and will happily tell you what you can or cannot get when using the plan. Crowded or not, don't be afraid to ask - you are one of the crowd, too, and have as much of a right to ask questions as anyone else in line. The CM's are happy to help.

The menu boards are very informative - if not overwhelming - some places (like the CS in Tomorrowland) have different menu boards for different lines!! The CS place in Adventureland (is that pecos bills?) has many lines but the same menu board - that CS place only has like 2 dessert options (very annoying that!)

The CS place in Living Land, near Soarin, has the best food, but the most confusing dessert areas!! lets se -e - say the whole back of the restaraunt has 5 or 6 areas of food - you grab a tray, and try and read the menu boards - or in the large line eta picture menu board... then you just keep going down the line there are refrigerator openings with choices, that include desserts - dont be fooled, walk all the way down and find their DESSERT Bakery!! THOSE are desserts worth finding!!

Thank you all for your input..Maybe by the time we get there, I will have more info in my brain and I will ask more questions, how else will I find out?? I don't like to take much time when I know it's busy, but at the same time, I want to be sure I get what I am paying for..Thank you again.
