I'll be spending my birthday in Epcot this year, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of great places to get dessert in the park. Thank you for the help!

There are several places that offer some very good desserts in Epcot including in Germany,Sommerfest's Black Forest Cake, several very good items in Norway at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe and my personal favorite located in the France showcase, Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles. Here you can close your eyes and just point and it is guaranteed to be excellent. I really can't point out any one item that stands out. If I had my way I'd order one of each and slip into a dessert coma. And if you haven't gotten enough while at Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles, right next door is L'Artisan des Glaces which offers excellent ice cream.

Desert options are nearly endless in the World Showcase. Churros in Mexico, bakery in Norway, strudel in Germany, gelato in Italy, snow cones in Japan, baklava in Morrocco, crepes in France, etc.

The bakery in Norway and France have some great choices. You may also want to look in Germany at the offerings in the Caramel shop.

Good news is you really can't go wrong with dessert in the world showcase. As others have said there are so many good options out there. Maybe since its your birthday just give yourself license to eat them all :-) My favs are the school bread in Norway, cronut at refreshment port, and anything from Karmel Kuche

No in EPCOT but it is easy walking distance to Beaches & Cream and one of our new favorite spots is the Creamery at Boardwalk...amazing quality ice cream and flavors!

I would go to Les Halles in France. The desserts are amazing and they have lovely indoor and outdoor areas to sit. There is also fantastic ice cream in France. If you like ice cream and are willing to walk a little, head over to the Boardwalk and go to Ample Hills - best ice cream in WDW

Another vote for Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles in France!

And another vote from me! It's a "must do" on our visits to Epcot. Sometimes we get 4 or 5 desserts to share (among 6-8 of us) so we taste a bunch of different things. And sometimes I'm the only one who goes to the bakery and everyone else goes next door to get ice cream. I have to say that the ice cream there is about the best I've had anywhere. Soooo rich and creamy.

Not sure if you'd be open to sitting down, but the desserts at Monsiuer Paul look pretty much perfect, could get a nice glass of bubbly to go with it?
