We're doing dinner at 50s PT...but I am not sure any of the desserts sound great on the menu. Any suggestions on what to get for dessert in DHS? Starring Rolls? Am I missing something good at 50s?

s'mores is good but oh, sooo rich and sweet. I like the Grapefruit Cake at Starring Rolls/Brown Derby.

It's really hard to get dessert after about 4 or 5 pm at the Studios. Everything closes early.

Oohh, the Smores are soo good. But when I've eaten too much and can't handle a dessert, I'll ask for a PB&J milkshake to go.

I read somewhere that there is a new cupcake on the menu at 50's. Has anyone tried that yet to give an opinion of it?

Thanks for all the input!

Does Starring Rolls close early? Maybe we'll need to pick up dessert before dinner if we go that route.

A cupcake might be nice (if its not the regular old cupcakes you get for birthdays, etc.) I'm sure we'd like the s'mores dessert as well- I love s'mores but DH doesn't and I was hoping to check out a few other places.

I like the cinnamon rolls at Starring Rolls, and though I've never tried it, I've heard the best dessert at DHS is the carrot cake cookie at the Writers Stop, located near the Sci-Fi Dine In.

Yes, Starring Rolls closes about 4 pm, give or take an hour. I think their opening hours vary somewhat based on how much business they've done that day.

It is best known for its cupcakes. Which are insanely huge and sweet and the just thought of one is making my blood sugar spike.

There is a new cupcake on the menu at 50's. It was like a Boston Creme type cupcake. Here is a pics: (Sorry, not the best pic, but you can at least see it)

It's not that rich, but it is FILLING! We were stuffed after this meal! My mom and I got the cupcake because we knew we could take it with us for later.

X and G's Mom- Those desserts look great! I love the idea of the boston creme cupcake- love Boston Creme doughnuts and eclairs. Perhaps I'll give that one a try.
