Okay I’m a card carrying  Dessert Freak  - I’ll admit it,
but I’ve yet to be "wowed" by a dessert at Disney! Can you believe it?

Anyone want to nominate a fav dessert I should
seek out on my next trip to WDW?

Coffee Two Ways at Artist Point certainly wowed me! Hmmm!

The $8 banana split at Beaches & Cream was well worth the price (shared between two, though).

The whiskey cake at Le Cellier was very good.

There are a lot of mediocre desserts at Disney, but that just makes it even better when you find one that makes your day.

Disney is fabulous at creme brulee, that being said here are some of my other favorites.

Coffee two ways at Artist Point, chocolate wave at Coral Reef, and the chocolate lava cake at Kona.

The Grand Marnier Souffle at V & A's definitely wow'd me!!

The raspberry napolean at Flying Fish was the best dessert (and really the only wow dessert) last trip.

The previous trip it was a chocolate bread pudding at Le Cellier - that I have never seen on their menu.

Coffee two ways at artist point is wonderful.

Also the desserts at Raglan Road..all fantastic..the bread pudding, irish tirimisu, there is some chocolate thing. We have sampled them all and they are all quite good.

Our daughter loved the Tanzanian chocolate candies in beggars purse at Jiko.

i'd have to recommend the twinkie tiramisu at pop century, the zebra domes at boma (although that's the only thing i liked there), french toast loaf at the bakery at MK and the oreo bon bons at cape may cafe. although that's only the tip of the iceberg!

Anything in France (especially elephant ears and napoleons).

Freshly made ice creams andwich on Main St.

Tirimusi in Italy

Orang Creme Brulee at Sunshine Seasons

Canolis at Pinnochios

OMG, the bread pudding at Coral Reef

:thumbsup2

There are lots of really good desserts at V&A... just gotta fork out the $$$... there's a dessert thread that has pics of many of these...

One of my all-time favorites is a pretty simple one... Chocolate Croissant... mmmm....

Look at my tag and you will know my favorite dessert. With that being said, the Maple Creme Brulee at Le Cellier is wonderful! Years ago I had a tirimisu (sp) at Narcossee's that was the best I have ever had. Oh my...wonderful!!

The Tropical Creme Brulee at Citricos was good (as were ALL of there desserts).

I'm a creme brulee freak so, of course, I'd say....Any creme brulee..... AND Schoolbread!!!!!!!!

As a former Pastry Chef (before kids) My Top Picks & Desserts that Wowed:

Pralineige at Pastisserie Boulangerie in France in Epcot
Strawberry-Rhubard Cobbler with Cinnamon Ice Cream at Narcoosees
Blueberry Bliss at California Grill

I suspect the 2 fruit desserts were seasonal to Summer 2005 tho. They do have the Pralineige all the time tho. It's a must do, melt your body treat tho.
