At Alfredo's in Italy we had the chocolate cake with marscapone cheese filling. Great moist cake and with the filling it wasn't too chocolate. This is a great dessert to share with a friend because they give you two small slices on one plate. It is a great presentation, topped with dark chocolate and white chocolate shapes. We had espresso with it which was a nice complement. Outside of American Adventure we had warm funnel cakes topped with powdered sugar which were delightful because it was cold outside. The bakery in France was great but don't miss the crepe stand across from chefs de france, the crepes were delicious and not as heavy as something rich and cream filled. Epcot is a dessert lovers paradise. The shops also have a great selection of candy and chocolates. It's fun to sample chocolate from each country and take some home with you. Epcot also has the best selection of coffees in WDW and if you're a wine lover, you can do wine tastings in Italy, France and Germany for about $6-$10 and get a nice selection. All of the sit down restaurants are wonderful but you will get much better service for lunch than dinner because dinner tends to get crowded. Try counter service for dinner, Mexico and UK have the best. OK , I'm getting hungry now. Hope you enjoy your trip.
