Lightning Lane cost on Magic Kingdom, early close day?

Is it common for Lightning Lane Multipass to cost $35 when Magic Kingdom closes at six?We plan to be there on Tuesday, October 21st. The park closes at six that day. I was expecting a lower cost.
I looked at the MK LLMP prices for all the MNSSHP Party dates (also 6:00 closings, although the 21st is not a party day) from October 2-19 and the prices vary from $25 to $32. So $35 is not the usual price. But there are other $35 days this month and even one $37 day. I don't know how they decide the prices for individual days. There doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern to it based on day of the week or the like.

Yes very close to $35 but there is only 1 previous Oct. 21 to compare and that would be Oct. 21, 2024, and the price was $32 for MK that was a party night.

However this October 21st, MK is closing at 6 PM not for a MNSSHP party but the private party for the Garner IT Symposium group. This date was announced back in August.

The price for LLMP is not set by how many hours are available but how busy a specific date is expected to be in each park. Disney has a massive data model that helps them make these predictions well before the 21 day rolling calendar.

October 2025 party dates: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31 so you can watch the price vary slightly based on crowd projections as the month rolls along.

ETA: still learning the order of for and not in a sentence.

Thanks all. I'd been under the impression that Disney based LL cost on anticipated crowds. That is our only MK day on this quick trip. With the blogs I've read and vlogs I've watched, it looked like we could get our favorites done on an early close day. Time will tell

One thing to consider is the crowds may not be as low as they are on party days. Not everyone looks at park hours when choosing their park days. They will look for things like MNSSHP but not necessarily for a non-party day when the park is closing early for a private event.

Just something to consider when deciding about purchasing LLMP or LLSP.

That is a fact that Disney themselves has stated. Historically the prices do seem to track with that. I concur with PPs who said this might not be like the quiet party days the bloggers show off. Make sure you are there early enough to properly rope drop Early Entry. Rule of thumb is to be at your bus stop 90 mins before EE.

If I were going on that day the high pricing would be encouraging me to buy LL. It’s possible we’re seeing the beginning of another LL price increase but the party nights are cheaper that time of year so I’m not inclined to think so.
