Despite reviews, will you do Stitch?

I almost didn't ride it because of the negative reviews, but did anyway since the lines weren't bad and we all thought it was cute. So I think everyone has to decide for themselves.

I second the comment about the Country Bears though! But my son liked it so I'm sure I will be seeing it again.

It was OK. Some of the the stuff was neat, but the show is boring really. They can rework the story and some of the show and make it better.

For those anxious to see the Stitch gift shop, know that Stitch is EVERYWHERE! Huge push for him. Lots of adorable stuffed Stitches in all sizes. My son and daughter got their picture with Stitch right across from the ride. Do not worry about finding Stitch stuff in any gift shop - there is tons of stuff.

I'll try it once. Depends really on my DS, who likes Stitch, but I know some younger kids are just not loving it, even though they are big fans of Stitch. I think the negative coments have played a part in my point of view, I was excited about it, but I'm pretty indifferent now.

I am not sure if we are going to try it or not...can someone give me a brief description or comparisson?
i.e. is ir like AE or buzz?( I know it is in future world.. they were building when we were there last year!) Thanx :wave2:

Have been on it 4 times, really not much different than Alien Encounter, just another character and 2 extra micro guns. I really liked Mission to Mars 30 years ago. Its different than any other ride on property and enjoyable. Dumb rides to me are Dumbo and Indy cars but that fine for children. Don't know what people expect or want, Space Mountain hasn't chaged in all these years and people still ride it. Best ride to us is COP and Peoplemover and they been around since opening and still are favorites. If Disney never changed anything, we'ld still go there, if its thrill rides go to another amusement park,

My DS7 and I rode Stitch when were were there about a week ago and we both enjoyed it. I think my expectations were lowered to such an extent by everything I read here that I would have considered almost anything pretty good! :) It wasn't the greatest thing I've ever seen at Disney, but I thought it was pretty entertaining and my son actually liked the chili dog burp. :earsboy:

I'm less likely to stand in a long line for it, but if the line is too bad, we will definately try it. We tend to like things that everyone else doesn't (for instance the tiki room).

Since its a new Disney attraction, then i will go see it. :)

I always want to check things out for myself. Heck, if it's on Disney property, I'll do it no matter what people say.

I did experience Stitch. In fact, I experienced it twice on our last trip. I don't like it as much as I like Alien Encounter but it will be a staple attraction of my future visits.

I was disappointed, for a few reasons......

First, not a lot seemed to have changed from AE. So that tells me they did the makeover on the cheap....

Second, as a parent with a 5 year old daughter that kinda likes Stitch and a 3.5 year old grand-daughter, the second we saw the same set-up as with AE, we bolted. The kids were already shaking.....

Granted, I'm sure the older kids love it....we didn't stick around. So while we didn't actually experience the entire 'ride', I doubt we really needed to....
And THAT distress's me especially since it's Disney.

Too bad they didn't do something like the Crush interactive movie. Now THAT was great:-)

I wouldn't stand in line for this, but if it's a walk-on, then sure.

I'm not sure if I would take my 4 year old or not. Could be scary or him. The shoulder harness things are quite uncomfortable, really dumb idea..........

Absolutely.

I'm usually at odds with the majority anyway, plus I like new experiences, beyond the fact that my son would want to see it because of Stich. Having not seen AE, I'm not going to go in making a comparison, which probably affects a lot of people's opinion.

Quite frankly, the views on SGE are almost glowing compared to what I'd heard about Superstar Limo, and I still rode that with an open mind. I will give the majority their props for being right with that one, though. :crazy2:

Cheers.

A little trick for those who don't know....if you sit up as tall as possible in the seat until the shoulder harness contacts your shoulder and stops moving, it'll stop there. When you relax and sit normally, you'll have some space. ::yes::
