Despite reviews, will you do Stitch?

Well I dont have kids, so i guess it will be more of a - Gee honey, we have a little time to blow before our FP -Do we want to try Stitch or do another round of Buzz?

I disliked AE, thought it was a waste of time.

I had read all the negative reviews too and decided we had to try it for ourselves last week. I do have two boys who are 10 and 12 so the gross factor appeals to them keep in mind. Was it great? No. Would I wait in line for 30-40 minutes or do it at all without a FP? No way. Will I do it again? Yup because on our next trip we will be taking people with us who haven't seen it yet and I need to let them experience it before I put in my $.02. Actually, I like the preshow better than the attraction itself but it's certainly not a "great" attraction.

I have never seen such a fuss made over one attraction. To anyone who hasn't ridden Stitch, PLEASE ride it first and then make your decision. Before I went last month, all I heard on DIS was how awful the ride was. Me and my hubby rode it anyway and both loved it. Different strokes.

I just don't see what the big deal is. If you don't like it, don't like it. Why is there such a hostility about this ride??:confused3

I will definitely try it before I make up my mind. Lindsay I agree with you, different people like different things. I would not miss an attraction because someone else did not like it. If it turns out that I don't care for it, at least I will have discovered it for myself.

No.

DH and I went on Alien Encounter, and I think the harness + darkness would be too much for our kids.

I hated Stitch. Not only were the seats uncomfertable, but the whole show just wasn't enjoyable. Phillar Magic is a great who. Stitch's Great Escape should be removed from Magic Kingdom. Or at least reworked. The premise of the show was great, but the execution was terrible in my opinion.

I could never skip an attraction based on other people's opinion. I would need to experience it for myself.

Never got to do Alien Encounter, wife is pregnant, and family is Stitch fans so yes, we will do it once for sure, and may go a second time if we enjoy it alot.

I tend to agree witht he sentiments of checking it out for yourself. I went on it last October and thought it sucked. This past trip, I skipped it, I'd rather spend that time on Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear.

I know I, DS 22 and best friend 21 will do. Not sure on DS 8, will do a child swap or wait for the other one.

My daughter loved this ride. I didn't think it was great, but I had to go on it 4 times over a 6 day period. The worst part is when Stitch burps! Gross!
