I have heard a lot of negative comments on Stitche's Great Escape. I wasn't really looking forward to it anyway but thought I might do it until I read more about it. I probably won't go on it but if the girls want to go on it (11 & 12) I'll sit outside and let them.

Do you plan on visiting Stitch when you visis WDW?

We'll be there. I like to try things for myself, If I don't like it then I'll never do it again. no biggie.

DH decided to check it out and went last week and seconded the bad reviews. He thought it was the worst ever. But everyone should check it out for themselves.

Everyone is saying that it's so bad that we have to check it out. That and IASW.

We passed on it during our trip. Figure I can catch next time if its still around and if not then obviously the reviews were right and I didn't miss anything.

Yes, definitely. I love, love, LOVE Stitch, and I wouldn't pass it up. Getting me out of the gift shop will be difficult! Thank GOD for resort delivery!

I absolutely loved AE, so I'll have to check it out just for comparisons sake.

I loved stitch. I liked Alien Encounter better, but stitch was still awesome.

i hated alien encounter, only have done it once ever. i love the character of stitch though, so i will try the new attraction *if* we have time - we are only spending one day at MK on this trip

I think no matter what the reviews are for anything, you should try what you want to form your own opinion. Who knows, you might like it!

As long as I can get to the gift shop without having to do the ride, I'm avoiding it. I must be the only adult to ever scream her head off through Alien Encounter--I hate being restrained in the dark.

I hate that they didn't do something else with the character. I love Stitch. :(

Did it last trip. Was indeed awful. Not again. No one else in my family went and none want to.

I LOVE Stitch, so yes I will go on it(for the first time), when I go back to Disney World this Sept.~Despite what has been said about it. And I can't wait to check out the gift shop!

We'll do it at least once (DH knows better than to even protest - he knows how much I love the Stitch-Man). He may have to restrain me from trying to take the Audioanimatronic Stitch home with me - or he may just leave me in the gift shop and come back later. And even if he hates it he will not express such opinion until after I do so (if I do). DH and I get along REALLY well... :rotfl:

It wasn't our favorite ride, but it was okay and I am glad we rode it. It was interesting to see the reactions after. No one one screaming, but some were displeased.

I read the negative reviews and we decided to try it because it was a "new" ride. We all agreed we would not go on it again. Just like I would NOT go to Country Bears again, even though DH says it is a classic!!!

After reading all the bad reviews, we still tried it in January to see it for ourselves. We always try new rides regardless of the reviews to form our own opinion. We were very glad we tried it. It was not as bad as we thought it would be. We probably won't ride it again unless we are passing by and there is not a long wait but I am still glad I at least rode it once.
