Anyone else confused/annoyed with this 5 year ahead story line? Seems like there is so much missing. Hate seeing Gaby so drab, use to love to see what clothes she was wearing, wonder if show is going to stay like this?

BTW- I think that Edie's new husband is the widower of woman/child killed in car accident by Susan, anyone think I might be right?

That's a great idea about Edie's husband. I was wondering who he was and who he was connected to. We'll have to wait and see.

I don't like the 5 year jump either. Especially Gabi and her overweight children. I just found that hard to watch last night.

I am not crazy about the idea of 5 years ahead, but I think they had to do something to keep the stories fresh. With the 5 year gap, we have 5 years of history that we don't know too much about, so we have a whole season(or longer) to learn about what happened during that time.

Great idea about Edie's husband. I kept trying to figure out who he was after.

As for Gabby's kids, yeah, I was kinda upset about the fat kid storyline. But it totally fits for her personality.

That would be interesting if that turned out to be the widowed Husband...mostly if Susan and him become good friends. However, he is seeing a shrink for bad anger management and he stated that in the past he was a danger to others but never to himself...

I think that is why Edie listened to him because he may have been abusive already to her.

As for the 5 years I am not sure yet how I feel about it. I think the fat kids are a little over board and IMO should have made them spoiled princesses that are like in beauty contests or something....instead of fat and spoiled.

I also found it hard to watch last night.

I suppose I'll guess used to the new storyline. Like the new Edie husban's character. Where have I seen him before?

Bree's storyline was annoying.

I don't like the fat kids storyline that much - having her dd run after the car made me sick to my stomach (and my kids are skinny).

That was my first thought as well.

I didn't watch last season and I think I am done with this season.....I just think it has really gone down hill and is far too predictable.
