When Jane served Lynette with divorce papers last night, that was the final nail in her coffin. While I want Lynette to "win", I don't really want to see them together. Tom really went too far with the affair and moving in with Jane. It all happened too fast. I hope Tom ends up alone...LOL

I think they will be back together in the end. That stunt by Jane went too far. I loved the end where Tom told her that he would always care for the mother of his kids.

I was thinking the same thing. I think she lost her husband because she was so mean to him.

I agree that Lynette's been mean to him but then again the answer isn't jumping in bed with a woman who is as manipulative as his ex.

Yes, Lynette is dominating, controlling ,etc. But Tom is weak. He LIKED letting Lynette be the "enforcer" in the marriage/to the kids, so he could be the "nice guy." Too often, Lynette was forced to be the big, bad adult because Tom just wouldn't grow a backbone and man up. They were perfectly matched, IMHO.

I actually stopped watching this show a few years ago because while I didn't like either of them individually, as a couple they made my skin crawl with their dysfunction and behavior. So while I'd personally prefer that they both had died in that tornado a few years ago (or in any of the other disasters), if they're both alive, I'd rather they were not together.

Tom is too weak, Lynette is too pushy, and Jane is too manipulative.

And while I'm complaining, I think the part about Susan expecting her DD to parent as a single mom was over the top too, especially with a Scavo as the dad. They made adoption look like the most evil thing possible. They did resolve that o.k. but meanwhile, where does Susan think she's gonna get the money to help support Mike's sister?

Since the show is ending, I think a dramatic end (ie. jealous Jane kills Tom and Lynette) would be okay.

I would also be happy if Lynette and Tom get back together, even though she is a witch and he is spineless.

Tom works at a company - maybe where stupid Carlos just resigned from, but something like that.

If I recall, I think he initially went to work for Carlos's company, but then took a job with his competitor (at Lynette's insistence).

I think I want them back together. Not because I hate Jane (I really don't have strong feelings about her one way or the other), I just want it to end that way. Hate that Mike died. I wish they'd kill off Gaby -- my gawd, I can't stand her character.
