So I thought I would post our engagement story next.
So a little background. We have now been dating for about a year and a half. We had kind of talked about getting married, but I didn't think he would propose anytime soon. I thought if anything maybe next year since he is moving to FL in a couple of weeks, and a lot of his friends and everyone are getting married and engaged, so I thought he would wait a little bit. So, I wasn't really expecting anything to happen.
So, anyway, a couple weeks ago Derrick took a week off from work to come down to FL to spend a week here since I'm back to living in FL. I asked him what he wanted to do, and he said he really didn't care, he just wanted to go to Disney at least one day. Well, I didn't have any objection there since I am a Disney nut. So, the start of his vacation, we spent two days in Savannah for a wedding for one of his best friends. Then, we drove home, and the next day we spent at Disney. We got there late morning, and he picked to go to Magic Kingdom first. We did the usuals, Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, then I asked what him and my friend wanted to do next and they didn't really care so I suggested Space Mountain. So, we headed to Space Mountain. While in line, my friend and I discussed what we wanted to do for the photo since we have been on it so many times that we know exactly where the photos are on all the rides, lol. So, my friend is in front, then me, and my fiance was behind me. So, we went on the ride, and go to get off and look at our picture. It wasn't up when we first got up there, so we waited a second and it soon popped up. I couldn't see it well at first because there was a crowd around it, but I just figured they were looking for their own photo. Well, I wasn't really paying attention apparently because there was a crowd because they were all reacting to our photo, lol. I saw the photo and I was REALLY confused because my fiance was holding up something big and white. I was like where did he get a newspaper? lol. So, I tried to get closer to get a better look, and I started to notice that it was a sign and it said something. At first I saw the words, "Emilie!" and then I started to clue in to what was happening. Then, I looked closer and saw the "Will you marry me?" underneath it. Well then needless to say I was shocked, lol. I was like no way, this is not really happening is it? No! Lol, many thoughts were running through my mind, and everyone was freaking out, even the employees and asking if I said yes and everything. I didn't notice any of this because I was still in shock, lol. So I looked over at my fiance and he kind of grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the side and got down on one knee and said, well? Lol, I was so shocked all I could do was nod. Well, then he put the ring on my finger and we kissed, and yeah. Every one around us was freaking out and saying congratulations and stuff. The employees didn't know what to do with themselves, lol. They also gave us the pictures for free, and when we went to pick the pictures up they gave us Just Engaged pins and announced it to everyone in the store.
Anyway, here is that picture. It's silly, but it is so us! My fiance did soooo good! He knew he had to do it at Disney, and he knew he had to do it in a way that I wouldn't suspect anything. Well, obviously he nailed it. 
Oh, and my friend knew all about the whole thing, she was in on it and so was everyone else, lol.
And just a cute picture his best friend took of us in Savannah.

Aw, thank you so much everyone! My dad told him he just made every other guy's life hard, haha. And his friend told him he made him look bad, lol.
So I went and tried on wedding dresses today, and I found three that I love! Now the hard part though, trying to choose!

Congratulations!
I think you chose a beautiful time of the year to get married. I might be biased bc my wedding was Nov. 7, but I think that Nov. has some of the best weather and crowds are not too terrible.

They're all beautiful but each gives a different feel, so it depends what you are going for. They all look good on you but I think I like #1.
