Last week I happened to watch Design Star for the first & I thought only time. Well, it was on again Friday night & I watched again & got hooked. Now today, there's a Design Star marathon, yahoo!!

This is season 2, who won in season 1? Cause I watch other shows on HGTV, don't remember all the names, but was wondering if one of the ones I watch has the winner from last year. Is it LaPorta, or the young, tall blonde woman or someone else? I know, there's probably a long running thread here all devoted to Design Star but .

Design star is a fun show for sure. I am a reality show junky and did not discover season one till the last episode, most likely cause it was competing with some other reality show I enjoyed LOL. The winner was David Bromstad , he has a show called color splash, I believe now on HGTV.

Did David Bromstad complain & put down any of the other contestants or was he a more easy going guy who didn't whine?
