Describe your sneeze!

My wifee has one boomer of a sneeze: KAR CHOOOOOO

Mine is compact and efficient: Ker CHEW!

How about you?

Are you a snerker, roarer, silent wonder, snorter, sprayer? Do you CHOO without AHing? Do you let 'em go two at a time? Three? Four? Singles only?

And lastly, can anyone manage to keep their eyes open mid-sneeze?

I've got hayfever and my socks practically fly off, I sneeze so hard. I've always envied those women who could give a dainty little sneeze. I always try to give everyone a warning when I feel it coming on and I usually sneeze at least twice.

Mine are pretty big and loud. It feels better when you really let it GO! AHCHOOOOO!!! I almost always sneeze twice in a row, I guess the first time isn't enough. All 3 of my boys sneeze twice in a row too, my 5 month old JUST did as I'm typing this! LOL

My sneezes are real window rattlers. My specialty, though is that I can make myself sneeze by pinching the cartilage on the bridge of my nose. I have to have a latent sneeze "queued up," but if I do all it takes is a simple pinch and I cut loose with a sneeze. An excellent way to clear my head.

I'm sort of noted for that trick at work. So if I sneeze, my co-workers will first ask me if I made myself do it. If I say yes I don't get a "bless you" from them. Only the ad hoc ones count.

can I describe my coworkers sneezing?
one sounds like a baloon deflating "chewchewchewchewchew" (kinda funny actually)
one is a multiple sneezer - between 3 and 5 at a time...his record was 9.

this one guy is an explosive sneezer...I mean, I just a foot off my seat when he sneezes and I usually have my headphones on w/ music blaring and I can STILL hear him. Instead of 'blessing' him I just say "Good God" and he accepts that.

I try to have a petite, quiet, sprayless sneeze. It sounds more like an eh-choo! as opposed to an AH-CHOO!

Too funny. Reading this thread made me sneeze.

I am more a ahhh chooo sneezer, not too loud, but loud enough.

I remember when I was really young, one of my teachers told us that if we held in our sneezes (hold our nose), we could blow our brains out. He was joking of course, but I never took any chances and always let loose when i had to sneeze.

Multiple sneezer here. My Dad used to be the same way...when he started sneezing, our family would all yell & count from wherever we were in the house "ONE!!!" Yes, we're an odd family.

I think I must be stinkerbell's co-worker, the last one she described!

I do a lot of "ah's" before sneezing, about half of them silent. Kind of goes like this

Ah (silent gasp) ah ah (silent gasp) ah ah CHOO!

There's nothing dainty or lady like about it at all I'm afraid. And yes, I scare people all the time, especially my mom if she's in another room. Willy's a reader and I've scared him several times. He's a big man and can sneeze like the best of them, but I put his sneezes to shame!
