Since when does this make someone a bad person (or a liberal)? I'm a passionate conservative whose been wearing Birkenstocks since 1990, and I'd never vote for Kerry. And there are a fair number of people at Starbucks this morning ordering Lattes that will vote for Bush in November. And likewise, there are lots of gun-toting, southern rednecks and big business CEOs who'll vote for Kerry. I think these kind ad hominem attacks are utterly pointless.
Originally posted by caitycaity i would venture to guess that 99% of the people ordering lattes at the starbucks down the street from where i work will be voting for bush.
well, did you live here during the clinton administration? many many many government employees, especially the appointed types are now republicans. the starbucks near where i work is the closest starbucks to the treasury building and the white house. i'm guessing a large number of their clientele will vote republican.
of course, dc is still like 99% democrat, but a lot of people who work here (and consume starbucks here ) aren't residents of dc.
