I'm about to phone Disney to order our tickets. We've already paid our resort bill in full. Will I need to put a deposit down right away for the tickets? Need a fast answer please. :flower:

NO. You can buy tickets at the park or in advance w/full payment. You can not order tickets per se w/o paying.

When I made my reservation, I was told i had to pay for the tickets - in total - *now*.

I'm not sure why that is, but that's all I was told. 4 people with Theme Park tickets with Pork Hopper addon ... that's pricey. :guilty:

At least the hotel room reservation was only 1 night's stay.

You shouldn't need to put a deposit down. You should be able to pay for them when you get to the resort. Or if there seems to be a problem, when you check in just say you would like add tickets.

OK, so I can't add the tickets to the existing account I've been paying off a little at a time?

If your still paying on the trip, then just state that you want to add the tickets. NO deposit should be needed as it will be part of your "package". It will mean that you will have to pay just a little longer. If your going to add the park hopper option or any other option, you can do that when you get to your resort. We are doing this.

Thanks. I think you said it better than I did. That's what I want to do - add to the package, which they told me would be fine when I booked the hotel. I just never asked if I'd have to pay for the tickets all at once if I called back to "add on". :)

Sounds like you want to switch from a room only reservation to a package. Do you have a discount on your room? If you do, you may lose it if you want to switch to a package.

No problemo.... :teeth: But yes listen to what Debbie just posted. Make sure you won't loose any discount of which you have been offered....

If you want to change your room only reservation to a package, the entire amount is due 45 days prior to arrival. If you want to keep the room and tickets separate, the one night deposit is due on the reservation and the final amount is due at check in. Then, you pay for tickets when you add them. My advice would be to add the tickets as "key to the world" (scanned onto your room key on arrival) at least one day before your arrival so that you can still get the advanced purchase savings if you are purchasing a 5 day ticket with either/and park hopping, plus or non expiring option(s). You don't get an advanced purchase savings on any tickets 4 days or less, or any ticket 5 days or more as a base ticket. If that is the type of ticket you want, you can purchase on arrival and pay at that time same price. Understand??!! :confused3
