Denzel Washington's Generosity.

Denzel Washington was touring Brooks Army Medical Center where many soldiers go for treatment of burns and other injuries. He toured the Fisher Houses while he was there. These house lodge family members who are visiting their loved ones. During the tour he asked how much it costs to build one of these houses. When he was told, he took out his check book and wrote a check for the full amount. Someone sent me that email today along with several pictures of Denzel touring the facility and posing for pictures with troops. I would post it but I don't know how to but I wanted you all to know what a quiet hero he is.

That e-mail is true to a certain degree. I don't want to discredit any donation because he did make one, but the stories not 100% accurate. Denzel did donate some money but not the full amount. And if it's like the one I got his sons are not serving in Iraq.

I did not get one that said he had sons in Iraq. Snopes referred to the donation as substantial. His presence there also bolstered morale which is never to be minimized. Thanks for the link however.
