I cannot believe I cannot figure this out, I thought I was pretty well prepared for Disney, but here goes. The deluxe plan, need help figuring it out. When it says three meals per day, is that 3 TS per day, or 2 TS 1 CS. Also what is the cost of the deluxe plan?

With the deluxe plan get 3 ts credits per night. You can use them for either table or counter service and you don't have to use 3 per day you can use 2 one day and 4 the next if you want. The cost I believe is $69.99 for adults and $19.99 for children per night.

I was thinking of the deluxe only for the purpose of possibly using the credits for CRT, and other higher credit dinners. Still undecided though

That is why we got the deluxe plan for our August trip. My dh wants to try some of the Signature Restaurants and we have 3 character meals scheduled including CRT.

I will need to do some figuring and see if the extra money will be justified, for the deluxe, this would give us the opportunity to eat at some retaurants we have not done before. We have come to understand that going at Christmas will have to be more laid back this time, so it may be okay to spend extra time at dinners

My family loves to eat. What I like most about the Deluxe Plan is that it can be used for CS or TS. I also like the fact that I won't have to plan budget for food. Once the DP is paid for, we can go wherever we want to eat as long as the restaurant is participating. Even DH is on board with this. Usually he it the one that encourages me to save money, but he is wanting me to go for the DP.

Go figure!! LOL!!

We did DxDDP in January and will be doing it again in March 2009 - we LOVED it - had a 2 credit meal almost every night and ate at WONDERFUL places!!!! It wasn't too much food for us!

I figured out the cost for my trip, and I would be able to eat at more restaurants that I cut out for cost reasons, and we would come out ahead and still have 8 meals each left. I don't know what to do. I have to decide before my 180 day mark.

Hmm, with a 4yo do you want to spend that much time with TS meals? With the base plan you could do a character meal everyday and still have a more casual CS meal at some point. Do you think he'd want to sit through 2 TS meals everyday? I may be travelling solo with a 6yo and think 1TS will be his limit.

We would be spacing them out. One early in the morning, and then one later in the evening for dinner. As long as DS had time between he would be okay.

I haven't made a decision yet, though. Still looking into it.
